Biography

Pursuing PhD in computer science under the supervision of Prof. Danica J. Sutherland at the University of British Columbia (UBC). My research interest is in developing A.I. models with limited supervision, particularly in the domain of active learning and meta-learning. I am also generally interested in deep learning theory, probabilistic modeling and kernel methods. I have worked as a research intern at Borealis AI since 2022 with great supervisors - Gabriel L. Oliveira, Fred Tung, and Mohamed O. Ahmed. Prior to UBC, I obtained my bachelor’s and master’s from UC Berkeley and UMass, Amherst, respectively.
