Pursuing PhD in computer science under the supervision of Prof. Danica J. Sutherland at the University of British Columbia (UBC) from Fall 2020. My research interest is in computer vision, especially, object recognition in self and weakly supervised manners. I am also interested in representation learning as means to better understand weak supervision cases. Prior to UBC, worked as a research intern in Vision & Learning Lab at Seoul National University under the supervision of Prof. Gunhee Kim. Obtained my bachelor’s and master’s from UC Berkeley and UMass, Amherst, respectively.
